Choosing a domain name is the first step in securing your place online. Costs are typically less than $20/year and a custom domain name unlocks a lot of opportunities for your online business… from custom email addresses to your own web site domain, it’s an investment worth making.
Before you register a domain name, it makes sense to check social media properties to see if a name similar to your desired domain name is available.
You may also want to check your state (if in the United States) to see if you can register a business with the same name.

Web Hosting
If you want to has a website now or in the future, you’ll need a web hosting provider. Bluehost and Cloudways are more traditional web hosting providers that allow you to install the web hosting software of your choice and customize to your heart’s content.
Systeme.io is an all-in-one web-based subscription service that provides web hosting capabilities (among other things). Instead of having to purchase multiple different technologies, System.io includes them all in one easy to use management interface.
You don’t get quite as much flexibility as you would if you built everything yourself, but the tools work well together and are easy to manage. Given that you can sign up for FREE, it’s worth checking out if you are just getting started online.
